St. Clare’s Tahoe is an independent Catholic school in the Diocese of Reno founded in 2018. Home of the Golden Eagles, St. Clare’s is made up of a Montessori lower school serving students in grades Pre-K3 through 6th, and a Classical upper school serving 7th through 12th graders.  The upper school houses the Chesterton Academy, and altogether, St Clare’s Tahoe delivers a unique combination of classical education, opportunities for hands-on project-based learning, and a passion for outdoor adventure.

Our Mission

Inspired by Saint Clare’s love of the Eucharist, our mission is to guide students to know the Truth, love the Good, appreciate the Beautiful, and to grow into the fullness of their created potential.

As part of the Chesterton Schools Network, we share their motto “Cultura Vitae”, the culture of life. We seek to prepare students to triumph over the materialism and despair that pervade our culture and to accept our Lord's offer to have life, and to have it abundantly.
